Sequoia Research is an independent climate change think tank focused on researching and generating solutions to solve climate change issues in Africa, and the world by extension. Our mission is to drive meaningful change at the local, national, and global levels to mitigate the effects of climate change and promote the implementation of climate change solutions.

Africa contributes so little to climate change, yet she is the most vulnerable to its consequences.
From 2030 to 2050, it's projected that climate change will lead to around 250,000 more deaths annually due to factors like malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea, and heat-related illnesses.

During the combustion of fossil fuels, nitrogen oxides and huge amounts of carbon dioxide are released into the atmosphere, contributing to the formation of acid rain and trapped greenhouse gasses.
