Sequoia Research is an independent climate change think tank focused on researching and generating solutions to solve climate change issues in Africa, and the world by extension. Our mission is to drive meaningful change at the local, national, and global levels to mitigate the effects of climate change and promote the implementation of climate change solutions.

- Africa contributes so little to climate change, yet she is the most vulnerable to its consequences.
- From 2030 to 2050, it's projected that climate change will lead to around 250,000 more deaths annually due to factors like malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea, and heat-related illnesses.

The name Sequoia holds deep significance for us. Just as the majestic Sequoia trees stand tall and resilient against the forces of nature, so too must we stand together in the face of climate change. Like these ancient giants, we strive to be a symbol of strength, endurance, and growth in the fight against the causes and consequences of climate change
